About Charging & Battery Management

How do I know when the battery is low, and how do I charge the devices?
  • Low Battery Alert: When the battery runs low, the corresponding low-battery indicator light on the keyboard or mouse will flash rapidly.
  • How to Charge: Plug the Type-C end of the charging cable into the mouse or keyboard, and connect the USB-A end to a computer or power source. The indicator light will remain solid red while charging.
  • Fully Charged: Once the battery is completely charged, the indicator light will turn solid green.

Important Note: A low battery can cause lag, cursor stuttering, or temporary disconnections. Please charge your devices promptly to maintain optimal performance.

Sleep Mode & Waking Up

When do the keyboard and mouse go to sleep, and how do I wake them up?

To conserve power, the devices will automatically enter sleep mode and turn off their indicator lights when idle:

  • 2.4G Mode: Enters sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  • Bluetooth Mode: Enters sleep mode after 60 minutes of inactivity.
  • How to Wake Up: Simply press any key to wake up the keyboard, or move the mouse to wake it up. The devices typically reconnect within 3 seconds.

Tip: If the device takes longer than 3 seconds to respond or fails to wake up, please check if the battery is low or ensure the wireless/Bluetooth connection is stable.

General Troubleshooting (Disconnection / Lag / Sync Issues)

What should I do if my mouse or keyboard disconnects, lags, or won't connect?

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Charge the Device: Plug it into a power source and ensure it is fully charged.
  • Check the Mode: Verify the indicator light for the corresponding channel is flashing to ensure the device is in the correct mode.
  • Troubleshoot the USB Receiver: Unplug the USB receiver and try inserting it into a different USB port on your computer to rule out a faulty port.
  • Troubleshoot Bluetooth: Remove/Forget the keyboard/mouse from your device's Bluetooth history, restart your computer, tablet, or phone, and restart the Bluetooth pairing process from scratch following the guide above.
  • Cross-Test: Try connecting the keyboard/mouse to another computer or device. If it works fine on the second device, the issue may stem from driver or system compatibility on the original device.
  • Hard Reset: If the issue persists, perform a hard reset on the 2.4G or Bluetooth channels using the steps in Section 2.
What should I do if the channel switch button isn't responding?

For the Mouse: Make sure it is fully charged. If it still won't switch, reset the mouse's 2.4G and Bluetooth pairing. For Bluetooth mode, delete the old pairing records from your device, restart it, and try again.

For the Keyboard: Fold the keyboard to turn it off. Press and hold ESC + 3 simultaneously, then unfold the keyboard to power it on. Release the keys once all indicator lights flash rapidly, then attempt to switch channels.

About Keys, Functions & Scroll Wheel Issues

How do I use the top row function keys (F1-F12) for media controls?

To use the multi-media shortcuts, such as volume control and brightness, press the FN + ESC keys first to enable the FN lock mode. Once locked, pressing the top row keys will trigger their respective media functions directly.

Why do some function keys or shortcuts fail to work when connected to a Mac?

Important System Compatibility Note: The XKM01 Pro keyboard is fully compatible with macOS when connected via Bluetooth. However, if you connect via the USB Receiver (2.4G Mode), certain macOS-specific shortcut functions may not be fully supported. We highly recommend using Bluetooth mode when operating on a Mac.

What should I do if the mouse scroll wheel stops working or feels unresponsive?
  • Restart your device: A simple system reboot can often clear up minor driver communication glitches.
  • Clean the scroll wheel: Dust or debris trapped inside can block the optical sensor. Wipe the wheel with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with rubbing alcohol, or use a hair dryer on the COOL setting to blow out any trapped particles.
  • Fully charge the mouse: Low battery levels directly impact sensor sensitivity.
  • Hardware test: Connect the mouse to another computer to determine if the issue is hardware-related.
