ProtoArc EM12 Review: A Budget Wireless Gaming Mouse

Video summary

A short review of the EM12 after roughly a week of use, from a reviewer who plays games and wanted a wireless mouse without paying flagship prices.

His favourite detail is the finish: a plastic and rubber hybrid that feels better than the material on cheaper mice. The four side buttons are configurable through the companion software, and he walks through the process of remapping one after finding that the default assignment opened an application instead of performing the action he expected. Two or three minutes in the software, he says, is enough to set the macros the way you want them.

His only complaint is intentional and personal: the clicks are close to silent. He likes audible feedback and had to trust that presses registered, though he confirms they always did, including in games. Overall he calls it a good mouse at a budget price and recommends it.
