Editorial Policy
ProtoArc publishes practical guidance on ergonomic workspaces — how to choose, set up and use mice, keyboards, desks and chairs. This page explains how that content is researched, reviewed and corrected.
What we publish
We publish three kinds of content: guidance on comfort and workspace habits, hands-on guides for choosing and using products, and company news. We do not publish medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
How we research
Articles draw on hands-on product testing by our team, customer support cases, field feedback from customers, and published product specifications. Where we cite an external standard or study, we name it and link to the source. Claims that cannot be verified are not published.
Who writes and reviews
Every article is published under a named author, and each author has a page describing their background and the topics they cover. Articles are reviewed before publication. See all authors.
Accuracy and corrections
We review published articles when products change or when a reader reports a problem. If something is wrong, tell us through the contact page. We correct the article and update its modification date, and substantive corrections are described in the article itself.
Use of AI
AI tools may assist with drafting, editing and organising research. They are not used to invent claims, sources or test results, and every article is reviewed by a person before publication.
Commercial independence
ProtoArc sells the products we write about. We do not accept payment to rank products, and we do not present paid placements as independent reviews. Recommendations follow testing and reader needs, not what we most want to sell.
Contact
Questions about this policy or about a specific article can be sent through the ProtoArc contact page.
