Having trouble connecting?
- For USB setup, use the 2.4G USB receiver. EM06 also supports a wired USB connection.
- EM16 also supports Hub configuration over Bluetooth. Bluetooth configuration is not supported on EM25, EM06, EM11 Pro, or K310 Pro.
- Use Chrome, Edge, or Opera for the best compatibility.
- Refresh and reconnect. When using USB, try another USB port.
Frequently asked questions
My device is not detected. What should I check?
If your device is not recognized in the configuration center, please check the following:
Use the 2.4G USB receiver, a wired USB connection for EM06, or Bluetooth for EM16.
When using USB, connect the receiver or EM06 USB data cable directly to your computer (avoid using hubs if possible).
Use a supported browser such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Refresh the page after connecting your device.
Click “Add New Device” in the configuration center.
If the device still does not appear, refresh and reconnect. For USB connections, try another USB port.
For EM16 over Bluetooth, pair ProtoArc EM16 with your computer before opening Hub. On Windows, it may appear as an unknown device in the device list. On macOS, enable Input Monitoring for Chrome or Edge in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
Can I configure my device over Bluetooth?
EM16 supports Hub configuration over Bluetooth or with the 2.4G USB receiver. To use Bluetooth, turn the mouse on, select Bluetooth channel 1 or 2, hold the channel button for 3–5 seconds, and pair ProtoArc EM16 with your computer before opening Hub.
For EM25, EM06, EM11 Pro, and K310 Pro, Bluetooth is not supported for Hub configuration. Use the 2.4G USB receiver instead.
EM06 also supports configuration through a wired USB connection: connect the included USB data cable and set the power switch to OFF.
You can still use Bluetooth for normal operation.
Which browsers are supported?
We recommend:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
These browsers fully support the required WebHID/WebUSB APIs.
Safari and some other browsers may not detect the device properly.
Do I need to install any software?
No software installation is required.
The configuration center runs directly in your browser.
No background applications are installed on your system.
This makes the setup lightweight and easy to use.
Will my settings be saved after restart?
Yes.
Once saved, your customized settings are written to the device.
You do not need to reconfigure after restarting your computer.
How do I reset the device to default settings?
You can restore default settings in the configuration center.
After reset, all custom shortcuts and DPI settings will return to factory defaults.
