About EK04 N Basic Settings

What is the sleep mode behavior?
  • The numeric keypad will automatically enter sleep mode after 60 minutes of inactivity. The indicator light will turn off.
  • To wake the keypad, simply press any key. It will wake within 3 seconds, the indicator will light up again, and the keypad will resume working.
How to charge the EK04 N keypad?
  • When the battery is low, the red low battery indicator will flash until the keypad shuts down.
  • Insert the Type‑C end of the cable into the numeric keypad, and the USB‑A end into a computer USB port.
  • While charging, the red indicator will stay on.
  • Charging takes approximately 2–3 hours. Once fully charged, the indicator turns green.

How to connect the EK04 N via 2.4G USB or Bluetooth?
2.4G USB Connection
  • Turn on the power switch.
  • Press and hold the WiFi icon button until the 2.4G indicator lights up to activate 2.4G mode.
  • Remove the USB receiver from the bottom of the numeric keypad.
  • Plug the USB receiver into your computer's USB port.
Bluetooth Connection
  • Turn on the power switch.
  • Press and hold the Bluetooth icon button for 3–5 seconds, until the Bluetooth channel indicator starts blinking rapidly.
  • Enable Bluetooth on your device, search for or select “ProtoArcEK04 N”, and complete pairing and connection.
How to reset Bluetooth on the EK04 N keypad?
  • Turn off the keypad.
  • Press and hold the Esc + 3 keys, then turn the power back on. The Bluetooth channel indicator will start flashing rapidly.
  • On your device, turn on Bluetooth and search for or select “ProtoArcEK04 N” to complete pairing.
  • If the Bluetooth name does not appear, toggle your PC’s Bluetooth off and back on, then try again.
How to reset the USB receiver for EK04 N?
  • Turn on the keyboard.
  • Press and hold the channel key with the WiFi symbol for 3–5 seconds until the channel indicator light starts flashing.
  • Remove the USB receiver and then reinsert it into your computer.

After completing these steps, the keyboard will be re‑paired with the receiver.
