Material Specifications & Allergy Disclaimer

Material Compliance

Our products are manufactured in strict accordance with industry environmental and safety standards (such as RoHS, REACH, etc.). The materials used (e.g., ABS plastic, silicone, synthetic leather, metal coatings) are generally safe for the vast majority of users.

Individual Sensitivity Notice

Due to physiological differences, a very small number of users may experience skin allergies to specific materials (such as natural rubber, specific metal components, or surface coatings). These instances are considered unforeseeable individual reactions rather than product quality defects.

Usage Recommendations
  • Pre-purchase Inquiry: If you have a known allergy to specific materials, please consult our customer service to verify product compositions before purchasing.
  • Immediate Cessation: If redness, swelling, itching, or any skin discomfort occurs during initial use, please stop using the product immediately and consult a medical professional.
Disclaimer of Liability

The Company assumes no legal responsibility or compensation obligations for allergic reactions (including medical expenses or loss of earnings) caused by:

  1. Use of the product despite a known history of allergies.
  2. Individual idiosyncratic physical reactions.
Returns & Exchanges

Requests for returns due to allergies must be submitted within 7 days of receipt, provided the product remains in pristine condition. If the product shows visible signs of use or exceeds the standard return period, the Company will only provide technical consultation or a partial refund/depreciation-based solution.

Unauthorized Disassembly

For your safety and to ensure optimal product performance, please do not attempt to open or repair the product yourself. Any unauthorized disassembly, modification, or attempted repair will be deemed a waiver of your warranty rights. The Company will not provide free warranty services for hardware damage, performance degradation, or safety risks caused by self-disassembly. All associated repair costs shall be borne solely by the user.

Discontinued Products (EOL)

If a damaged product is confirmed to be discontinued and spare parts are unavailable, ProtoArc reserves the right of final decision regarding the following options:

  • Product Replacement Scheme: We may offer a replacement product of equivalent functionality or superior performance. The market value adjustment for the replacement product typically ranges between 10% - 20% of the original product’s value.
  • Depreciation-Based Refund: If no suitable replacement is available, ProtoArc will issue a pro-rated refund based on the original purchase price (proof of purchase required) and the duration of use.
  • Warranty Continuity: The warranty period for the replacement product will inherit the remaining balance of the original product's warranty. The warranty period will not be reset or restarted upon replacement.
